This early 1900s lithographic print is in excellent condition. I would think that it was in a very dark room, or someones wardrobe for most of its life - there is no apparent fading etc. I removed it from its rather drab old frame, so this is the first time it s been exposed from it s original habitat!
Measuring 390mm x 510mm, it has been affixed to card by the framer. Viewed horizontally there are some slight blemishes, but when in a frame they would not be apparent. There is a small part missing in the photo, on the lower left margin. I have reaffixed this - would be covered by a frame though.
On the back of the print is the framers information - The British-Australasian Publishing Company - Machinery Picture Framers. American Connexed Enlargements Executed. 102 Charles Street, Launceston Tas. Phone 876.
